Include the current map in a report
I'm looking for a way to include the current map that I'm looking at in the html-viewer in a report - with markup and everything. I've tried using the html-viewer's ExportMap REST endpoint, following @Patrick Fingler?'s video on Youtube, but I cannot get it to work. So I'm looking for other options. Is it, or will it be possible to run a Printing 5 job from a Workflow 5, and pass that resulting printed map into a Reporting 5 report? Or are there other options that I haven't thought of?

Hi Jostein,
This is possible using the 'FeaturePictureBox' activity, as circled on the left (below).
This could be populated by using the identify tool to select features from the viewer and then selecting run a report from the panel actions menu, or as suggested you could create workflow including a display form for example.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Harry

Jostein,
Apologies, I have re-read your initial message, should you want the map extent rather than selected feature extents you could use the Get Map Extent activity in workflow to first get the extent of your map in the viewer, and then run a report with a FeaturePictureBox in to display the current extent.
Thanks,
Harry
