How do you change the Legend to match the grouped values in your map service?

I have a map service that I have unique values symbolized but then have grouped then into one year and then 5 years together. However in the Web Viewer legend is showing the symbol of the grouped values 5 times. I do not know why it is showing it this way in the web viewer legend option.
