Be able to use Geocortex Essentials sites in the new GC Web Viewer
Non planifiéeWe want to move away from Geocortex HTML5 sites; however, Web Viewer only allows us to pull in maps that are hosted on ArcGIS Online. This is a huge flaw as we do not have Portal and cannot simply recreate our web maps on AGOL due to FOI reasons (which I am sure any Canadian Gov't body will experience due to AGOL being on American servers).

HI Ryan - We have no plans to support GE Sites in Geocortex Web. AGOL or an Esri Portal (and a webmap or webscene) will continue to be the core configuration component that we are extending. We are doing work to make the future transition for customers easier. GE 4.13 has a feature to export a significant chunk of the site config into a fully configured webmap (including the map tip configuration you've done in Essentials). As Geocortex Web begins to approach functional parity with GVH we are also beginning to look at what scripts and tools we might be able to provide to at least partially convert configuration from GE/GVH to Geocortex Web.
