Is a subreport the required method any time a 2nd data source is to be used in a report?

  1. When both the tables are from the same data source you can use the master-detail report relationship

  2. When the data exists in two separate data sources you can use a report-subreport layout

  Thanks, Guillaume! I was confused about how to approach this situation but will focus on utilizing the subreport to make it work (since I have two separate data sources).
