    Hi Cody,

You can currently group the layers in web scenes using Esri's viewer, but not the web maps. GXW is aligning support with the current functionality of Esri's viewer.

    Cheers,

    Hi @Pairin Mason?

Any updates on this topic? It would be really nice enhancement to the Web Viewer.

For some of our sites the layer nesting (organizing layers in folders) is must have. It's really holding us off from migrating some of our older Essentials sites to the new Web Viewer.

    Thanks,

    Nataliya

    Hi,

Like Nataliya I would find an update on this very helpful. The inability to organize layers in folders would prevent us from migrating to Geocortex Web at present.

    Thanks,

    Peter

    Hi Nataliya & Peter,

Currently, you can organize layers into groups within web map & web secne using Esri's Map viewer (BETA) now, but their UI doesn't really allow nesting yet (group layer within group layer).

We still don't have plans to expose this layers organizing in Geocortex Web Designer.

    Kind Regards,

    Pairin

Hi all - wanted to chime in and say that your feedback here is heard loud and clear. There are currently some interesting discrepancies between the various layers in Esri's stack in this regard. We are about to sit down and figure out what is possible, and what is possible via Esri's interfaces and create an example webmap (public) that demonstrates this for clarity.

I've just added a dedicated post that include a detailed PDF with instructions on how to accomplish all this and more in your GXW layer list.
