Reminder: Product Versions retiring on Dec 31, 2019

Hello Everyone,

As 2019 draws to a close we wanted to remind customers about product versions that are scheduled to be retired on December 31, 2019:

• Geocortex Essentials 4.0 to 4.5
• Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 2.0 to 2.6
• Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight 2.5
  • Note that this is the last version of Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight released, thus this also signifies the retirement of that product.
• Geocortex Mobile App Framework 2.0 to 2.2
  • The last version of Geocortex Mobile App Framework (2.3) is scheduled for retirement on December 31, 2020

Note that retirement does not mean a product will stop working, only that options for obtaining product support will be limited.  A retired product is not eligible for basic support, so cases will not be opened for retired products unless explicitly approved by the Product Support Manager (that's me!).  Please refer to the Geocortex Product Life Cycle Support Policy document for a full explanation of the policy.

If your organization is using any of the above product versions, we recommend migrating to a version under General Availability as soon as possible, to ensure continued support for your Geocortex product. Please consult with your Account Manager if you would like to learn how we can help you with your upgrade!

As always, please consult the deprecation plan for Geocortex Products as we routinely update it with product lifecycle schedules.
