Layers cannot be exported? Which layers can?

Hi, I'm having trouble with downloading map layers for a given map area in the GO App; it tells me that 'some map layers cannot be exported', and as it turns out none of them can.. I'm using a feature layer, hosted in Portal for ArcGIS (same portal used to log in), and a standard basemap (OpenStreetMap).

What layers can and what layers cannot be exported/downloaded for a map area?

  Hi Yannick,

   

  We don't specifically indicate the layer types that are supported, but hosted feature layers should be supported. Are you using a local data store on the Portal to host the data?

   

  Can you provide any details about the data that you are trying to take offline? Details like field types, attachments, etc.

  Hi Stefan,

  Thanks for the reply. I think that might be the issue; the feature layer has attachments. I've used the same steps in the same environment for a different layer without attachments and that worked.

  Other than that the feature layer holds two text fields and one date field.

  I'm not sure how the data is stored on the Portal, but my guess is that it's local.

   

  Should basemaps be supported too?
