How to call a command from a custom workflow activity?

In GVH, we could call a command from a module by using something like this:

this.app.command("Alert").execute("Hey");

Is this also possible in code for a custom workflow activity in Workflow 5?

  Hi Berend,

   

  This is not possible and will not be implemented. Activities are intended to be run within workflows, not called as functions.
