+1 for Geocortex Web. This would be useful when using the search component as a Geocoder/Address input. Especially in a data discovery application - the first address search may work but if the 2nd search is outside the extent, no results show in the autocomplete since you have zoomed into the first search's point.

Any updates on this? It is still very much needed as it's very unclear to users why they are not finding results when zoomed in. We don't care if it would take even a few seconds more to search.

Our users also need the function to search for asset-objects and addresses outside the map window.
In most cases they don't known where the data they are looking for is located.

    Hello all,

I am Jack from the Mobile team here to answer your inquiry. Thank you for helping contribute ideas to Mobile, and apologies for the time it took to get back to you.

After discussing this with our development team, they have instructed me of how this can be done. It does require some hand-editing the app JSON file in App Designer, but it can be done! Due to how technical it is and because the format here will not help me convey the idea well, I've consulted my team and we've decided to write a blog post about it (Blogs are at Blog | VertiGIS Studio Developer Center). Please stay tuned for an article there about search override.

Please don't hesitate to reply to this thread or chatting with out support team for any questions or concerns you have!
