What's the best way to create a simplified permalink/pretty url to a web viewer?

  Hi David,

  You can create a launch link to Web by choosing "Get Links" OR "Launch App" options via "Deploy" panel in App Designer.

  Hi @Pairin Mason?, I guess I was looking for a way to not include the appid, as it will change when we move the maps and apps from an old portal to a new portal.

  I'm basically looking for a way to set what was formerly known as the Global Unique ID. I don't want to include the appid from portal as that can change.

  Hi David,

   

  Unfortunately, there is no way in SaaS to provide such a URL.

  You'd need a proxy, or an iframe page hosted somewhere else that points to apps.geocortex.com.

   

  If using on-prem, I believe, you could do it in IIS with URL rewrite rules.

  The following IIS doc would be a good place to start:

  Then you would just update if the appid changes.
