Adding or updating a feature of a feature server table

I would like to add and edit features of a hosted feature server table using a workflow. My workflow is working fine in html5 viewer, but in geocortex web it fails. The error I get is 'Database error has occurred'. I do not have any problem updating or adding a feature in a feature server layer in geocortex web.

 

The problem seems to be specific to a datatable with no geometry. Is there different syntax needed in GXW compared to GVH?

 

I am using the 'Create Feature' and 'Add Features' activities. (only adding attributes to the feature, no geometry nor symbol).

 

I am using Workflow 5.16.2 and geocortex web 5.8.0

    Hi Lore,

     

    The upcoming releases of Geocortex Web 5.10 and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1 in a couple weeks include support for working with tables through the Get Table activity and additional parameters for tables in numerous existing activities. Take a look in the What's New section when its available for more information.

    Hi Lore,

     

    Geocortex Web 5.10 and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1 are both now available so that you can work directly with tables.

    It seems the problem is related to the use of Portal for ArcGIS. I don't have problems updating tables on arcgis online.

     

    *update table hosted on arcgis online:

    • no problem using Geocortex Web 5.10 and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1 as SaaS
    • no problem using Geocortex Web 5.10 and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1 on premise

     

    *update table hosted on Portal for ArcGIS (ArcGIS Server 10.8.1)

    • using Geocortex Web 5.10 and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1 on premise: "Database error has occured"
    • using Geocortex Web 5.10 and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1 as SaaS: "Database error has occured"
    • No problem using html5 viewer and Geocortex Workflow 5.18.1

    Thanks for replying @Lore Schoeters?. We will do some additional testing and investigating here as soon as we finish regression testing our 5.11 release.

    @Pairin Mason? can you jot down a 'to do' to dig into this when we have an opportunity after regression is complete for 5.11?

    Has this error been resolved? Because I'm having the same issue with VertiGIS Studio Web 5.23.0, VertiGIS Studio Workflow 5.33.1 and ArcGIS enterprise 11.1.
