Is there a way in GXM to store the selected GNSS device as default device?

Currently (V 5.11) the use must everytime change the device when opening GXM.

  Hi Markus,

   

  Currently, this is not possible. The thinking here is that we want to provide 'some' location on startup - and a GNSS receiver may not (yet) be connected - so we show the 'device' location and allow a user to change to the GNSS receiver when it makes sense for them.

   

  We could perhaps remember that the app was last looking at a GNSS receiver and - if it is available - choose it on startup. I'll consider that for a future release.

   

  What mobile device - and what GNSS receiver - are you specifically working with?

  They use a Trimble R1 with GXM on windows. It's important that the user cannot mistakenly use the built in device to have the best accuracy. Probably there's a workaround with disabling the location permission of the internal device. We'll try that out.
