    Good afternoon @Tara Preston? ,

I am seeing similar behavior after deploying my web viewers. I am getting a slightly different error however - "InvalidOperationError: 400: Print Template Failed"

Have you had any luck on figuring this out?

    Thanks,

    Brian

Hi @Brian Cunningham?. It sounds like it is a bug. I have been working with Geocortex Support (@Amanda Frech?) and they have stated that it is a bug with running secured print templates from Geocortex Web apps when using an IWA Portal. The workaround is to make everything on the viewer, including the print templates public. Of course that is a problem if any of the layers need to be secured, but until they can develop a fix, that is the workaround. Of course, that is if your issue is the same. Good luck!

    Thanks @Tara Preston? ,

I was able to change the sharing permissions on my items and that appears to be the work-around. Our Portal is all internal, and not shared outside of our firewall, so sharing with "everyone" is a work-around that could work I guess.

Any input from @Amanda Frech? ? I have noticed that I can run the print operation from the web viewer designer, but not from the web viewer itself.

Is it possible to rollback the deployment process? I'm curious to know what all gets changed once we deploy to production, because the printing still works on all of my web viewers that have not been deployed to production, with the exception of the "development" version of the viewers that have been pushed to production. I get the printing error on both the "dev" and "prod" versions of those viewers.

    Thanks,

    Brian

    @Brian Cunningham?

Being able to run the print within the designer, but not in the launched viewer is consistent with what we've been observing for the bug Tara mentioned. But seeing the issue in dev versions but not prod isn't. I'd suggest double checking if the dev/prod versions have the same Share settings. In the "Deploy" panel, there should be an option from the menu for each environment that will give you an overview of "Sharing Permissions" for all the items the app references.

For reference, the ID for the bug Tara mentioned is 46482. We've seen it happen in cases where Portal has anonymous auth disabled and windows auth is enabled on its web adaptor (which usually necessitates installing this as well: https://communities.geocortex.com/s/article/Install-the-Geocortex-Web-Adaptor-Extensions )

Could you confirm if that's the type of configuration that your Portal uses? If so I'll add some info from this community discussion to the bug ticket. It helps for us to know when multiple organizations are running into the same issue.

    Good morning @Amanda Frech? ,

I should probably clarify what I meant by the prod vs dev issue: Once I have deployed a web viewer to production, I see the issue in both the dev and prod versions; I do not see the issue in any web viewers that have not been pushed to production yet, and are still only in their development state. Sorry for any confusion there.

Yes, I have anonymous access disabled, and windows auth enabled on my web adaptor, and I do indeed have the web adaptor extension installed.

I have verified that sharing permissions are the same between both dev and prod. Is there a way to "un-deploy", and roll everything back so that I can allow my users to access the viewers in their undeployed state and utilize the printing?

    Thanks!

    Brian
