GXW User Preference Settings - Expose Events

It would be nice to switch between light and dark basemaps using the user preference settings light/dark choice. I can do this with a toggle button and workflow, but the use preference settings menu is preferred. By exposing change events in the user preference settings GXW admins can wire in a workflow to do whatever.

  Good suggestion. We've had similar thoughts on the team in the past, focused more on making changes to the theme based on the basemap the user selected.

  I suspect you can do this today with the slightly lower level events for https://developers.geocortex.com/docs/web/api-commands-operations-events#event-ui.activated and https://developers.geocortex.com/docs/web/api-commands-operations-events#event-ui.ancestor-deactivated ... but that doesn't mean we might not be able to put a more user-preferences-updated type of event in there.
