New Web Install on Premises, on new machine. Cannot complete post install. Default Web Site does not support HTTPS. Help!
RéponduI'm installing GeoCortex Web on-premises to test a GeoCortex extension we built.
I'm just following the instructions to install GeoCortex Web, and it will not let me past the post installer IIS settings. The only option is Default Web Site, and I get an error when clicking next. "Site does not support HTTPS".
I'm beyond lost at this point, and could use some help.
I read somewhere you're supposed to change a config somewhere to allow for HTTPS. But I don't even have the software setup yet so I don't have any other options.
What is the fix here? Do I configure Default Web Site, etc? Or is this not possible?
I appreciate any and all help!

Hi Colin,
See our docs on requirements for Web: The GXW server must have a valid Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 certificate and you must enable TLS for the website to which you deploy GXW.
See this page for instructions on how to configure TLS 1.2: https://communities.geocortex.com/s/article/Connecting-to-external-services-with-TLS-1-2
Your IT Department should be able to assist with adding a certificate to your web server.
If you require further assistance, you can submit a case by emailing support@geocortex.com
Thanks!
Steph
