Now Available: VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.16.1 (and missed announcement for 5.16.0)

Today we've launched a new 5.16.1 on-prem installer to resolve 2 issues:

• 164271: Fixed an issue where erroneously reported that the user was offline.

• 179334: Fixed an issue where custom apps would sometimes crash on the first run, then be fine after that.

As the fix here only affected Custom apps - we have NOT re-released the NO-BUILD-SERVICE installer.

Somewhere in the updated communities site, I failed to post the 5.16.0 announcement (sorry). This is/was a fantastic release with some exciting new items:

• We updated the product name to VertiGIS Studio Mobile. We've released Go to the App Stores as VertiGIS Studio Go - but on some devices, this will simply appear as Studio Go.
• It is now possible to configure an app that will allow workflows to run in the background and raise OS level notifications if needed. A great mental model here is a workflow that monitors the user's location in the background and notifies the user when they enter or exit some geofence area. This will now work even if the user's device is sleeping.
• We did a refactor of how markdown was rendered and dramatically improved this support.
• We added new commands to allow app authors to store data in one session - and retrieve it in a subsequent launch of the app.
• Several new geometry manipulation commands have been included, allowing for workflows that can create more precise geometries. 
• We also implemented ArcGIS Runtime 100.12, continuing our commitment to keep up-to-date with the latest improvements from Esri.
