portal.choose-layers arguments to add from a different portal?

I cant find any documentation on portal.choose-layers. Does this accept any arguments that can be used to add data from a different portal?
eg something like this

I would LOVE to get to this point, but currently you are restricted to adding layers from the portal backing your sign-in credentials, and some content from ArcGIS Online.
As you might imagine, the complexities of managing credentials across multiple Esri portals gets complicated.

Agree that it would be nice to be able to have some arguments for this command!
More specifically, it would be nice that you can can choose an initial filter (like: show all organizational content). This doesn't seem like too hard to implement and it would make the tool a lot more user friendly/usable, since non-owners of items wouldn't have to choose a filter before seeing content to add.
I personally now of around five organizations/companies in Belgium that would really like this being implemented!
Cam Barnard, would you consider adding this parameter to the portal.choose-layers command?
If not, do you have a workaround?

This work is in progress. It wasn't quite done for the cutoff for the April 17th release, but should be available in the June 19th release.
