Can parts of a dialog (e.g. geometry settings dialog) be hidden?

Is there a way to hide certain settings from dialogs like the geometry settings dialog (geometry.display-settings) or the add location note dialog (map.create-note)?
In case of the geometry settings dialog users do not want the option to choose between metric or American measurement system as they always use metric. The same regarding the checkbox for 'Is geodectic'.
In case of the 'Add location note' dialog users do not want to choose the coordinate system as it is always the same in their region.
So the question is, can a certain part of a dialog be hidden?

This is not possible today.
We may get there some day, but it isn't clear.
Something to consider for customers who insist on very specific interfaces is that you can create your own dialogs using workflow, or even a custom component.
Most would respond: That is a lot of work! ... yes, as would making every dialog very configurable when most folks are OK to use the out-of-the-box dialogs as they are.
