Hding Layers from the Top Level on Layer Preset Pane to persist all the way to the lowest level

When I hide a Layer from the top level on the Layer Extensions Pane for Layer Presets I want to also Hide the sub layers as well at the same time.  Currently it seems like once I hide at the top, the bottom levels have to be hidden as well.

  Or an Extra category to choose Lower levels as well...
