Layers List - Visibility Filters on Individual Layers

Trying to replicate layer permissions that we have in Essentials via Visibility Filters in Web. It seems visibility filters are only available on the component level.
Is there a way to set visibility filters on individual layers within the map or layer list component? If not, is it in the pipe or should I add an idea tracker?
We can somewhat get around this issue by hiding layers in the layer list, setting failure to silent on said layers, and having a workflow run to make those layers visible - the workflow would have visibility filters enabled for a portal group/user.

Hi Andrew Adamson ... if you are aiming for security, I'd look at VertiGIS Studio Access Control. If you are looking to create unique views of your map data I'd look more closely at Layer Presets which can turn layers on/off, hide/show layers in layer list, set transparency on layers, and even set new visibility scale ranges on layers.

Is there a way to allow the user to choose the visibility of a layer at a scale they specify?
