Limit Legend Items Based on Map Extent

Hi

We have some habitat layers in our web map that have 200+ symbologies. It would be nice to be able to limit the legend items to only show what is in the current map extent

  This is a long requested feature by the Esri community. In VSW we are largely using the legend component provided by Esri.

  We did this for our Printing product as we could analyze all the data a single time before generating the print.

  I don't think you'll see this anytime soon from us (or Esri) as it is a very performance-intensive thing to try to figure.
