But whye there is no chance to consume map\feature services directly in VertiGIS without the need to go through the Portal for ArcGIS\ArcGIS Online?

At this time, that is correct. Part of the reason for this is that currently if we let you add a map service by a URL (rather than via your Portal) you will have no way to configure the pop-up since this is also done in the Esri interface.

Add a Map component and select a Web Map or Web Scene.

Could you please elaborate a bit more on this? It shouldn’t be very confusing to add just a service to the map as we used to do in Geocortex

Hi Jamal,
Studio Web uses the configuration of the referenced web map from AGOL or Portal, so any changes made to the web map, like adding map services or layers, will be updated in the Web Designer once you press the Refresh button.
The majority of configuration for the mapping data is now done on the Esri side.

Jamal Numan the key thing to understand here is that VSW is consuming a webmap. All the layer configuration, including which layers are present, is configured at the webmap level in AGE/AGOL.

As per the screenshot below, I got a web map in my portal. I appreciate if you guide me how I can consume it in VertiGIS? which tool i use?

Jamal Numan it's in the Map component. Map > 2D Web Map > Select

Hello, is there not a way to add a service from a different organization to VertiGIS Web's map or does it have to be done on the Portal side? I am speaking more so for other organization's services.

If it is public, yes. If it is secured, they you would need to use on of Esri's existing portal-to-portal sharing mechanisms to make it visible to your local organization before you could use it. We doesn't have the ability to manage the credentials to multiple secured portals.
