can I create a button that resets all the layers back to their default settings?
RéponduHello,
is it possible to create a button/tool that allows the user to return the map and app back to its default settings in Geocortex Web? I am not talking about the "return to initial map view". What I need is a tool or button that I can click to turn off all the layers I turned on and used all at once.
Sometimes our users will have lots of layers on all at once. Is there a way to clear or turn them all back to the default setting when the map opens up?
thanks

Hi Larisa
You could use a layer preset that has no layers ticked to remove all layers that are turned on.

Thank you so much that is exactly what I was looking for. I am slowly getting the hang of this. lol! do you know how to create a "clear all results" button too?? lol! that is my next task.

In the results list section under feature actions, you can add "remove results" to the options which will remove all results

In more recent version of VSW layer presets can even re-set things like scale visibility and transparency so you can create a true "back to exactly what you should be seeing" even if end users have made significant changes.

Is there a way to do this as workflow instead? Because if you make changes to the web map you have to re-configure the layer preset. Thus, it would be useful to find a way to do it automatically
