VSW - Debug custom component

Hi, I'm trying to build a custom component for VertiGIS Studio Web. I downloaded the SDK provided (PointsOfInterest component).

I'm simply trying to run and debug the component, but I can't figure out how to run this locally?
The only indication I found to run custom code is found here: https://developers.vertigisstudio.com/docs/web/sdk-deployment/
But that would mean exporting an optimized (not human readable) my local project to the dev server.

Is there a way to run the SDK locally?
