    Hi Ryan!

You might be referring to the GeoTIFF functionality that Essentials has (Essentials Admin - Map Export (vertigisstudio.com)). I'm not aware of a method to output georeferenced PDFs from VSW / VSP.

Can you clarify what the business need is with these georeferenced files - are they used in a field user context or some other context? In short, what are they doing with these georeferenced PDFs?

Hi Gareth! The business case is users want to be able to put markup drawings on a map (VGS Print) and export it. Then use that in their mobile devices as a map to locate areas that have been identified via the markups, with the underlying data in the map. I am pretty certain this works in Essentials, or at least they claim the outputs are georeferenced, as they use that product to do what they are hoping VGS Web/Print can do for them.

Hi @... - my mistake. They are using the GeoTIFF option with Essentials and the geo-referenced options with the tool here:

    https://webmaps.blm.gov/Geocortex/Html5Viewer/Index.html?viewer=OR_Roads.OR_Roads_Viewer

Is there anything in VS Web that is comparable, as I do not see any options for this in VSW or with WF?

    Hi Ryan Kelley!

Aha, yes that makes sense. No, I'm not aware of a method for outputting GeoTIFF from VSW.

I think it might be worth revisiting the use case. If you're looking to allow users to draw markup on a map and then view that markup on a mobile device, VSM may fit this use case. Markup commands were introduced in the August VSM 5.19 release (docs)

To check this out, go to the Studio Go sign-in screen, click Try out the sample apps, and select the Capital City app. Click the markup button below the I Want To… menu. Read more about how to configure these workflows here
