How to use a KPI card when selecting workflow as a source?

Whenever I configure a KPI, I can select the source as either a layer on the map or a workflow.
However, I could not find documentation on how to call off values from the workflow. All tutorials I saw use layers as a source. Any tips?

Hi Gustavo - I've got a couple of QA examples from test cases that might help here. Can you describe what you are trying to do so that I can find one that is close to your use case. i.e. tell me the problem from the domain point of view. I want a KPI card that represents <this data> <data from this layer> and I want it to update when/how?

I am working on a workflow where the user selects a city in a dropdown menu (we have the city polygon layers), and then the KPI cards update with the count of how many points (let's say from streelight layer) are inside that polygon. It should update whenever the user switches the city on the dropdown.
Anything you can show helps, I'm starving for examples.0 -
