VG Printing 5.19.0 fails to respect the current map scale (Print scale doesn’t match the map scale)
Dear All,
VG Printing 5.19.0 fails to respect the current map scale and read another scale (Print scale doesn’t match the map scale)
What might be the issue here?

Best,
Lubna

We are seeing a similar issue. Ours will print at 1:1128, but if we attempt to print at our next scale, eg at 1:564, it will print 1:1128. Any closer scales will revert to 1:1128. Is there a scale limit on prints?

I just posted the exact same thing within the Studio Web community.
Has anyone determined what should be done with this? The values that pop into the scale box make no sense.
Engineers want to be able to print specific scales such as 1:1200. Our basemaps and app in general is based on the local South Carolina State Plane CS and the map is confined to using the specific cache levels.
Thanks,

by the way, we are at version 5.31

I think it's because the print preview is smaller than the extent shown in the app. If the print preview was filled up to the full map window, then your map would print at 7463. This is confusing my users as well, so I'm eager to hear any other thoughts people have. When what they're seeing is different from what is printing, they're surprised when things like a layer turning on/off or labeling changing based on zoom level affects the final print output.
I have another thread (without any responses) asking what the new “Update Map View to Print Scale” toggle button does on the print widget as it doesn't seem to do anything. It might be something that can help with the above issue.
