Running into the same problem as Kristine. Is there any update on this one?

    Hi kristine.smaadal ,

There is no update on this. We have no plans to change how the item picker works. The highlighting is intended to show you where the items are so you understand what you're selecting. If there is no geometry present in the items, nothing is highlighted. That could be a way you could prevent the highlighting if you wanted.

    Hi Ken Lyon ,

As a follow-up question on this topic: we notice in an Item Picker (within a panel with tabs) the ‘common’ red highlight (all of the listed features) stays active, even when just one is eventually selected. The unchecked features remain in the red highlight, which is not as expected. Clicking the cancel button doesn't clear them (we need to run a map.clear-markup to achieve that). When using the back-arrow of the panel, however, this highlight is cleared. So, it appears that the Component itself lacks the logic to clear the ‘common’ highlight when we would expect it. Is that intentional or could it be bug behavior?

SIGGIS Helpdesk (esri Support) I believe the persisting highlighting is a known bug in the VertiGIS Studio Web implementation of this form element. I recommend you contact support to check the status of this.
