[5.34] Make checkbox label clickable

Introduced in VertiGIS Studio Workflow 5.34

In web, when using a displayform in a workflow, it is possible to click on a radiobutton's label to select it. With a checkbox on the other hand, this is not possible.

Please make the label clickable, to offer a larger click target

  This will now work everywhere a checkbox is used in Workflow. The affected form elements are:

  • Checkbox
  • Check Group
  • Item Picker (when Selection Mode is Multiple)

  In each case the label is clickable. It usually spans most or all of the width as well, making it a bigger target than just the width of the text.

  +1!  Funny, I think I was working around this about when you posted it.

  For what its worth, I've been able to abuse Buttons for this with a little CSS sprinkled on top.  If you choose to go that route, you might take these with you: ​

  Moved to the "Ideas" section as that's more appropriate for this thread.

  We're just starting to migrate our form elements to use more modern Material UI components instead of the basic ones we used initially. We can address this as part of that migration. The MUI checkbox responds to clicking on the label so that will address this.
