Great news! The Release Candidate for VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.44 is now ready, and our Team has officially started the final regression testing phase.
We are targeting Wednesday, October 14th, 2026, for the General Availability (GA) release. This release focuses on modernizing our core technology stack, ensuring Android 16 compliance, and resolving a range of stability and configuration bugs.

🚀 Modernization & Framework Upgrades We are committed to keeping your mobile applications modern and reliable.
- Faster JSON Processing: Replaced NewtonSoft.Json with System.Text.Json across the app for optimized speed and memory efficiency.
- Android 16 Compliance: Studio Mobile now targets Android 16 (API level 36) or higher, keeping the app aligned with Google Play's compliance requirements.
- Legacy Control Cleanup: Removed obsolete ListView, TableView, and Cell controls, and cleaned up obsolete Frame, CompressedLayout, and AndExpand APIs, streamlining the underlying UI framework.
- Studio Analytics on .NET 9: Upgraded the Studio Analytics API to .NET 9.
- App Designer on React 19: Updated App Designer to React 19.
- More Robust Configuration Validation: Replaced our AJV-based JSON validation in App Designer with a more resilient approach that avoids runtime crashes on large configuration schemas.
⚙️ Data Handling & Configuration
- Correct Domain Descriptions: Fixed Result Details displaying raw domain codes instead of their description for layers with subtypes.
- Coordinate System Validation: Resolved a validation failure for datum transformation WKID 108457 in coordinate settings.
- Basemap Configuration Stability: Fixed deleted Additional Basemaps reappearing in App Designer after saving and reopening the app.
📱 Stability & Workflow Fixes
- Feature Details Rendering: Fixed Feature Details HTML popups containing SVGs causing cross-platform rendering failures and crashes on iOS.
- Send Web Request Activity: Resolved an issue requiring a manual token when using the Send Web Request activity over the ArcGIS channel.
- Android Log Viewer: Fixed the Android Log Viewer freezing when copying a log message to the clipboard.
