Now Available: VertiGIS Studio Mobile 5.43

This release of VertiGIS Studio Mobile is primarily a maintenance release dedicated to optimizing application stability for end-users operating in challenging environments. Alongside a sweeping set of quality-of-life bug fixes across UI, localization, and offline data handling, this version introduces targeted architecture upgrades, a geometry editing technological update, and Arcade Expression support in Feature Details.

✨ New Features

• Arcade Expressions Support: Administrators can now leverage native Arcade expressions directly within Feature Details, allowing for much more flexible and intelligent data presentation in the field. [142819]
• Circle Geometry Picker: Studio Mobile now fully supports Studio Workflow’s new Circle Geometry Picker type, expanding the spatial input options available to end-users. [321907]
• Display Form Button Styling: Studio Mobile honors now custom Workflow styling properties for Display Form Button Bars. Appearance settings configured by administrators (including Emphasis, Size, and Style) will now render perfectly in the mobile app. [370080]

🚀 Technology & Performance Upgrades This release includes core upgrades to ensure mapping and drawing workflows remain fast, precise, and secure:

• Modern Geometry Editor: We have overhauled the underlying geometry editing framework to use the latest ArcGIS Maps SDK editor components. [382209]
• Core Security Updates: Security patches have been applied. [387426]

Bug Fixes This release includes a wide range of fixes that enhance stability and usability, with a specific focus on cross-platform visual consistency, robust workflow data capture, and offline reliability.

• UI Layout, Interactions & Localization: Significant improvements were made to cross-platform visual consistency. We corrected misleading disabled-looking backgrounds on Android text entries [389567] and restored missing active visual highlights on the Offline Area Toolbar [389332]. We resolved multiple text clipping and truncation issues affecting various European languages, including strings in the Local Data Manager [384966], the 'available updates' toggle [385125], search results on Windows [382502], and iOS MapArea update buttons [368181]. We also fixed invisible button text in light mode [386639], dropdown values changing unintentionally when scrolling [379692], and rendering artifacts when setting highlight label symbols to transparent [365066].
• Workflow, Forms & Feature Editing: We addressed several data entry and form interaction issues. We resolved critical feature submission errors by implementing proper support for the newest ArcGIS SDK date and time fields, including Date Only, and Time Only [345658]. We fixed bugs where iOS and Android file pickers ignored file type constraints [328847] and MIME type filters [239926]. Additionally, we resolved issues where repeated Display Form submissions failed [378088], auto-activating a Geometry Picker hid the Add location button [382920], and the geometry editor failed to move the final vertex of existing line features [375235].
• Offline Data & Map Stability: Enhancements to offline handling include fixing an issue where selecting an unreferenced package in the Local Data Manager prevented all other packages from updating [387671]. We also addressed a NullReferenceException triggered by the Local Data Manager's sort dropdown [386635]. Map stability improvements resolved invalid attribute errors when querying MMPK layers [379809], raw HTML erroneously displaying in feature popups [378889], and layer visibility persistence failing for deeply nested sublayers [243240].
