Our SOC 2 Type II 2026 audit was completed with no exceptions (final report received mid-July). As a sense of scale, 292 tickets were automatically generated over the last year for Studio Web/Designer alone by our code and library scanning tools, a good indicator of how actively we work to keep the platform secure.

Our accessibility VPAT has been updated to the 2.5rev template for WCAG AA 2.2. ADA and WCAG aren't the same thing (ADA is US law, WCAG is a technical standard), but WCAG has consistently been the benchmark used in ADA legal challenges, so WCAG conformance keeps you covered.

Certification testing for ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 is complete across the Studio suite, including Geocortex Essentials, with no issues found. And a fond farewell to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1, officially retired August 1, 2026.

RECENTLY RELEASED

Mobile 5.42 - completed Local Data Manager Map Area and Offline Basemaps updates and added the Refresh Layer workflow activity.

Web 5.42 - added import support for Layer Packages and File Geodatabases, GPX export, and the SaaS AI Command Assistant.

Desktop 2.1 - built for ArcGIS Pro 3.7 - project-specific portal connections, one-click access to Studio items on the portal, silent installation support, and a new print history function.

Workflow 5.52 - major under-the-hood updates (.NET 10, React 19, TypeScript 6), a new Number Format activity, and an option for the Query activity to respect an existing definition expression.

Printing 5.31 - a revamped Quick Start dashboard with predefined layouts.

Inline 2.9 - I18N improvements, a performance regression fix, and Route and Range tool fixes.

COMING SOON

Web 5.43 (August 19) - React 19 migration complete, 20+ bug fixes, labeling support for dynamically added layers, and a new Layer Attribute Table component (view-first: sorting, filtering, column show/hide and pinning, multiple tabs per layer). The AI Command Assistant comes to on-premises deployments, licensing enforcement activates, and an anonymous thumbs up/down feedback mechanism is added.

Mobile 5.43 (August 19) - 26 bug fixes, security updates, Arcade expressions in feature details, and a new circle geometry picker for Workflow in Mobile.

Analytics 1.8 - a new Data Management panel with manual/automated historical data removal and user data anonymization controls, including the distinction between anonymizing data (usage counts preserved) and session removal (data actually deleted).

FUTURE ROAD MAP

Web - Next-Gen Editing's feature-parity milestone has slipped to 5.44, but will support snapping across all Studio Web features, including dynamically added layers. Iteratively afterward: parallel/perpendicular construct tools, a new configurable editing toolbar, elevation profile, DXF/GeoJSON export, and keyboard shortcuts. A Copy Features tool is also in progress, targeted around 5.44.

Mobile - ongoing .NET 10 and Maps SDK 300.x updates, followed by query definitions as layer preset filters and result list grouping by source layer.

Desktop - 2.2 targeted for October, moving to a quarterly cadence. Continued UX improvements plus external data access during capture.

Workflow - an eight-week research project has kicked off to explore natural-language workflow building. The team will evaluate several approaches and build a proof of concept.

DEMONSTRATIONS

The new Layer Attribute Table component was shown as well as the AI Command Assistant's new feedback flow.

Studio Desktop's Dimensioning Editor was demoed in depth, covering aligned, polyline, and polar dimensioning, reliability thresholds, bulk dimensioning across many features at once, and the Orthogonal Dimensions tool.

An early preview of Studio Analytics' new Data Management panel was also shown.

Q&A

Can Attribute Table sorting/column settings be persisted? Not currently, but it's noted for discussion with the UX team.

Why an Attribute Table when a Result Table exists? The Result Table works with a filtered set of features; the Attribute Table is built for performance at scale, paging and sorting server-side across an entire dataset. Editing is planned for a future release.
