Studio Mobile 5.42 Release Delayed to June 24, 2025

Studio Mobile 5.42 will now be released on June 24, 2026, ensuring you can fully leverage the extensive offline data enhancements and cross-platform reliability improvements included in this release.

What’s coming in 5.42:

• Advanced Local Data Management: Users can now seamlessly update downloaded Map Areas and offline Basemaps (TPK, VTPK, TPKX) directly within the Local Data Manager, and perform on-demand data syncs using the new Refresh Layer workflow activity.
• Cross-platform layout stability and touch interactions: Addressed stubborn gesture bugs on iOS and Android (such as accidental panel closures), resolved flickering navigation buttons, fixed safe-area padding to prevent obscured text, and upgraded the UI foundation for smoother performance across all devices.
• Workflow reliability and offline robustness: Upgraded to Studio Workflow 5.50, resolved critical IWA authentication crashes following a portal sign-out, fixed file system exceptions during background syncing, and ensured the 'get-edits' operation reliably returns results for features within grouped layers.
