We are incredibly excited to announce that we are officially launching our first major AI capability—the Studio Web Designer AI Command Assistant—with the General Availability release of VertiGIS Studio Web 5.42, targeting Wednesday, June 17th, 2026.

This is just the beginning. While this space is launching alongside our new Studio Web Designer AI Assistant capability, it will serve as our central hub as we roll out additional AI tools across the entire VertiGIS product portfolio in the future. Your insights, experiences, and real-world use cases are invaluable to us in shaping the roadmap for further VertiGIS AI tools and their improvement.

To ensure your feedback is actionable and that our Product Teams can address it effectively, please use the guidelines below when creating a post.

📝 How to Structure Your Feedback

To help us route your input to the right development team, please ensure your post includes the following elements:

VertiGIS Product Family: Clearly state which VertiGIS product you are using (e.g., VertiGIS Studio Web, or other product lines as new AI tools roll out).
Context & Use Case: Provide a brief description of the specific scenario or task you were working on when the feedback arose.

🔍 Specific Details We Are Looking For:

👍 Positive Experiences: Where did the assistant help you most? Did you learn a new configuration technique through it? How did it improve your application? In which scenario did it help you efficiently with troubleshooting?
👎 Constructive & Negative Feedback: Did the assistant hallucinate or generate incorrect configuration arguments? Were certain safe words or phrases blocked by safety filters that shouldn't be? Were there specific commands or operations where it couldn't help you at all?

💡 Share Your Chat Context (Optional, but Recommended)

To help our developers replicate and understand your experience, please include the following in your post whenever possible and whenever you feel comfortable with it:

The chat history (the questions you asked and the answers the assistant gave).
The source command chain you started with.
The adapted command chain produced by the assistant.

🛑 Important Note on Usage & Rate Limits

To protect system stability, manage API costs, and prevent automated abuse, the AI Assistant operates with standard rate limits. These limits are designed with great headroom for human workflows and should not be reached under normal usage scenarios by human users:

Session Length Limit (Max 20 Messages per Chat): Covers 10 user prompts and 10 assistant responses. This flushes the context window before conversational bloat impacts accuracy. If you hit this, simply start a new chat session with 1-click!
Hourly Burst Limit (15 Requests/Hour): Accommodates rapid, iterative troubleshooting (like tweaking arguments multiple times in a few minutes) while blocking automated scripts.
Daily Sustained Limit (80 Requests/Day): Equivalent to 8 fully maxed-out chat sessions.

💡 Let us know: If you are reaching these limits multiple times during normal, productive work, please share that feedback with us here so we can optimize the thresholds.
