Hosted widgets in Esri ArcGIS Online are being discontinued by Esri

Early this year Esri announced they would be discontinuing their Marketplace https://marketplace.arcgis.com/

• The external Marketplace site was taken down in March 2026.
• The back-end Marketplace site will be turned off in March 2027.

The largest impact to VertiGIS Studio customers is the discontinuation of Esri’s ‘hosted widget’ program and infrastructure for ArcGIS Online.

VertiGIS offers ArcGIS Online hosted widgets for ArcGIS Web AppBuilder for Studio Workflow, Studio Printing, and Studio Reporting.

VertiGIS had been working closely with Esri and had approved submissions for our Studio Workflow and Studio Printing widgets as hosted widgets for Experience Builder.

With the discontinuation of the Esri Marketplace, there will never be ArcGIS Online hosted widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder for Studio Workflow or Studio Printing.

This does not affect on-premises deployments.

• Studio Workflow and Studio Printing widgets for ArcGIS Experience Builder remain available for on-premises deployment (Studio Reporting is available via Studio Workflow).
• Studio Workflow, Studio Printing, and Studio Reporting widgets for ArcGIS Web AppBuilder remain available for on-premises deployment.
