Added a related table to feature layer: doesn't show in Web

I added a new relationship class to a related table in a hosted feature layer. The table shows up in my webmap but not in Web. I don't want to remove and re-add the layer as it has Studio Search, several Workflows and a startup workflow all linked to it. Is there any way to force Web to recognize the new table? Also, what determines the order of related tables in the results?

  I have to retract part of this. It doesn't show in my webmap either, so this may be an Esri problem. However, I'm still interested in how people account for schema and layer changes in their Web applications.

  Okay, now I've solved my own problem. I just had to add the table to my webmap. I'd still like to know what determines the order of related tables in the results though.
