Run Workflow After Basemap Selected

After the user selects a basemap, I would like a workflow to run to set a folder visibility.  I can set the folder visibility manually by running the SetLayerListItemInfo activity but the Item Name is hardcoded into the parameters of the workflow and is also being run by a button.  Is there a way to get the basemap name that is selected by the user in the basemap switcher and then use that as a variable in the workflow that will automatically run after the basemap selection?
