Trigger change events Mobile

It would be very useful if Mobile would follow the same logic of triggering change events and suggestions (for autoComplete), even if the form element itself isn't visible.  

VS Mobile is triggering change events and suggestions of form elements when their value is set during a load event for instance. It happens with date form elements and autocomplete form elements. I don't see a possible work around to make a difference between user triggered events or events triggered by other form elements.
