Basemap max scale not respected from web map

Hi Everyone,

I have a basemap set in my web map. The max scale is set to 16000 so the basemap does not show when you zoom in closer than 1:16000. It works as expected in the web map. However when that basemap is picked up in VertiGIS web, the max scale setting is ignored. The basemap shows at all scales. When I go into the basemap settings in VertiGIS web there is no option to manually add a max scale like you can for custom basemaps. 

Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?

Any advice would be appreciated.
