Refresh Layer activity
Having a clean, performant activity to refresh a layer in Mobile is important for field workers as they are actively tracking the work they need to do and have done throughout the day.
For example, municipal water valves are supposed to be turned/exercised annually. As a field worker is exercising valves, we have a visualization layer that turns from red to green, to obviously indicate that they have completed the valve.
The Refresh Layer activity works great in Web!
The Run Command activity with map.refresh command (with the MapExtension parameter (https://developers.vertigisstudio.com/docs/mobile/api-argument-definitions/#definition-HasMaps)) has not worked for me yet, and the entire map refresh is jarring and does not perform very well, especially on a not-super-strong wireless internet connection.

Big interest from our customers as well!

Hi all,
I am Jack from the Mobile team here to answer your inquiry. Thank you for helping contribute ideas to Mobile, and apologies for the time it took to get back to you. I initially thought this activity was supported in Mobile, but, after looking into it, I found out that it wasn't. There were conflicting reports on this in our docs. I've opened a ticket in our backlog and we've had our first round of discussion and we will be trying to work on this ticket soon.
While I can't provide a timeline for when that will be implemented, please vote up this thread so it gets more visibility. You may also track the ticket's progress at https://changelogs.vertigis.com/workitems?search=331674.
