Pro Layout Tags

What are the "vglay_9880ecf5cdf84f1e9a6ac313b53935a7" tags added to pro layouts (.pagx) items in our portals? They're created automatically. Do we need to keep them? Do they serve some purpose?

  I'm not sure what it does, but I can tell you that they are needed, and the value needs to be unique for each layout.
