Geocortex reporting client - run report from python script

I have a report setup in VertiGIS (5.20), saved in AGO. And I also have a python script, that is using geocortex reporting client, to generate a report on depend. And it works as expected. 

However, I need to move my report to VertiGIS (5.23), ArcGIS enterprise (portal), and I need the ability to generate the report the same way, by running the script. However, with report imported to portal, when running the script, I'm getting an error that says “Error retrieving portal item: Item does not exist or is not accessible”.

My new report is in VertiGIS reporting 5.23, saved in portal,  - and is shared publically. The data used in the new report is saved in AGO,  - and is shared publically. 

Any ideas to why I'm getting that error? Seems like some sort of permission issue, perphaps?!

  Got this solved awhile back, with help from VertiGIS support. The solution was to modify the run request python script to include portal URL.
