End of support for TLS 1.1 for outbound requests from SaaS Printing/Reporting

As of May 13th, 2024 VertiGIS Studio Printing and Reporting in the SaaS environment will no longer downgrade to TLS version 1.1 when connecting to external sites that don't support TLS 1.2. A minimum version of TLS 1.2 will be required.

This change is not expected to have significant impacts because TLS 1.2 has wide adoption. It is supported by 99.9% of websites (see https://www.ssllabs.com/ssl-pulse/).

On-premises deployments of VertiGIS Studio Printing and Reporting are not affected by this change. With on-premises deployments, the supported TLS versions are managed by you via the SCHANNEL settings in the Windows Registry of your server (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/security/tls/tls-registry-settings?tabs=diffie-hellman#tls-dtls-and-ssl-protocol-version-settings).
