Migrate Studio Reporting to different server
Hi,
We are currently upgrading our ArcGIS Enterprise environment and migrating to new servers. Unfortunately after migrating the existing reports don't open, as they were stored in the geocortex reporting data folder on the old server.
I have tried to move the files in the data\default directory that seems to contain the report definitions but with no luck.
What is the process for transferring reporting to a different server, or to backup and restore this data directory?
Unfortunately this instance contains too many reports for us to readily export and import, not so much because of that process but then updating all references to the reports in workflows, webapps etc to use the new item id's this would generate.
Thanks
Andrew

I was able to succesfully copy some components of the data directory, after configuring Geocortex reporting on the new server, replacing the the Default and Keystore folders with those from the original server restored access to the existing reports.

Thanks for figuring this out Andrew! We're just going through the same process and I was NOT looking forward to repointing all the report urls in our workflows and essentials sites.
The only additional step I had to do to get it working was to go into each report item in our portal and update the Data Source URL in the Web Mapping Application section. It was pointing to https://maps.orcity.org/geocortex/Reporting/, and I needed to update it to https://maps.orcity.org/vertigisstudio/Reporting/ Once I did that, I can open the reports successfully from our workflows.

Great it worked for you too Chris, in our case we kept the same old paths for the applications so no need to update.
Also I discovered this is the same for server side workflows, client side workflows are stored inside the portal as the item data however server side workflows are stored in the data\workflow\workflows\ directory and need to be copied to the new machine alongside the index.csv.
