Global search/search suggestions
What's the method to replicate global search in Geocortex Essentials in VertiGIS Studio? I know that VS Search is a thing, but I haven't used it before, nor did I ever need to use instant search in GE, so really just looking for the easiest and most direct way to enable search suggestions based on map layer fields.
Secondary question: the posts I was able to find seemed to suggest that Search in VS Web doesn't work on layer that are turned off. Is that still true? If so that's concerning - a big part of our main internal app is the ability to type in a name or address and get back all info related to it (parcel, licenses, permits, CUPs, etc.) without having to have a super busy map with everything turned on.
I've been trying to read documentation or find related posts but have had a hard time figuring this out. Apologies if these questions have already been covered.

Hey John, currently layers do need to be turned on to be searchable. I'll confirm with the product team whether or not this will be something you can change in the future.
