Customise copyright through the attribution map info box

We have a number of layers with various copyright statements. The final copyright statement will be an amalgamation of the layer copyrights, dependent on which layers have been made visible.

A static text box would need to cover all of the copyrights irrespective of the layers chosen so our print templates use the map info attribution feature.

Some of our layers are supplied by a contractor and held within the data store of our parent organisation. The copyright information on the layer within this store contains the licence number our parent organisation uses for access. We, however, need to display our own licence number for access. When the attribution feature is used it ignores the copyright on our enterprise portal and instead uses the copyright from the original source (our parent organisation).

Can there be some way of customising the attribution box so that erroneous copyright information can be filtered out or replaced.
