Content search filtered by partial strings

For example, I have multiple workflows titled like

<utility-task specific workflow name>_AppInitializing

I would like to pull all of them into the results by searching for the partial string "_AppInit".

Are there wildcard characters allowed when searching by item name?

  I see that it is an ArcGIS Online-born limitation.

  

   

  Added tags, like "App Initializing", "Add Related", etc. to those workflows and that works pretty well in Item Manager with or without the "tags:" filter.

  

  Note that it does not like all partial cases For example, where there are mulitple words in the tag:
