How to use set current form element item as a load event with queried data that makes use of coded values?

I populated a drop down list in a form with the descriptions of the coded values of my layer, from a specific field. This I got to work. I did this with: Get Coded Value Domain > Get Form Element Items From Collection > Set Form Element Items.

I feel like I might have done something wrong with the 'get form element items from collection' which prevents my load-event from working properly. I used the following settings:

Collection: =$getCodedValueDomain1.domain.codedValues

Label: name

Value Field Name: code

I tried to use the 'set current form element item' as a load-event for the drop down list. I thought it would make sense to first try the most simple way, with the settings set to:

match type = value

value = 2

When I run this, it does indeed set the drop-down-list to a value. But it seems to be set to the wrong item. No matter what value I use, it is always set to the same item.

I want to eventually use the 'set current form element item' to set the value of the dropdownlist to a value that results from a layer query. The result of my query is just one feature, and contains the field 'aanleiding', from which I want to use the value as a default value in my drop-down-list. But I cant seem to make this work.
