ArcGIS Sign In Method not authenticating
In the Post Installer, I am configuring the sign on method to use ArcGIS Enterprise. When I do this I follow the instructions and enter the portal URL.
- I test the URL and it is verified.
- Then I finish the set up and it prompts me for the App ID and Secret.
- I enter the app id and secret and click OK.
- It prompts me for my login using Windows Security (because ArcGIS Enterprise is federated with SAML logins).
- I enter my credentials for the account in Portal which is an admin and owns the registered Geocortex app in Portal
- The window that popped up redirects to a Request for Permissions page (part of the ArcGIS login) and I click Allow. The box to Remember me is always checked during this process
- When I click allow it takes me back to the ArcGIS Registration page and I am presented with a red error message that reads
Your login session has been reset. Please try again.
I actually click OK again and nothing happens. I am unable to successfully complete this process. Why is it telling me that my login session has been reset? Is there something in my Portal that I need to configure? The ESRI Web Adaptor is configured in IIS with Anonymous Access disabled and Windows Authentication enabled but I have SAML logins which is presented as a workaround in this article:https://support.vertigis.com/hc/en-us/articles/11461058753426-ESRI-Portal-and-Integrated-Windows-Authentication
