Tool Trouble

I'm working on an ARC IMS site with Geocortex and I am having some issues with toolbar functionality.  In particular my zoom tool button works intermittanly sometimes it works other times it just brings up a circle with a line through the middle but does not function. Any Help appreciated. Thanks Ben
